The site contains 2 three bedroom adjoining but independent self-catering holiday homes with shared use of the swimming pool (12m X 6 m) and the 1 acre park style gardens. The homes are part of a former chateau situated in a quiet riverside hamlet in the Cerou Valley in rural south western France, just 8km from the medieval town of Cordes sur Ciel and about 20km from the cultural town of Albi with its famous cathedral and the Toulouse Lautrec museum. Both Toulouse and Rodez Airports are just over an hour’s drive away.
The holiday homes are available to be let individually sleeping 2 to 8 people in comfort, or together offering the flexibility to be used by larger groups or extended families accommodating 2 to 14 people. All bed linen is provided and beds will be arranged to best suit your requirements and made up for your arrival. You will need to provide your own bath and pool towels.
Both the properties have a different style and unique character, providing spacious accommodation retaining many of the original features, including beamed ceilings, and an open fire place in de Tourelle, but with the addition of modern style living comforts. The tower forming the main staircase within Maison de Tourelle is the oldest remaining feature of the original Chateau dating back to the 13th century.
We have been successfully letting them as holiday and long term winter lets since 2006. There is a small restaurant next door with new owners starting in 2013 making an evening off the cooking a possibility. There are many other restaurants within 10 km too. A welcome pack including basics such as milk, bread, cheese and a bottle of wine will be available for your arrival.
We hope you find our website easy to use, informative and helpful. We are always looking for ways to improve and impart more information about the holiday homes and surrounding area.
